Ask HN: Why don't we have "Guilds" for solo AI founders yet?

1•iliailinskii•1d ago
I'm a solo founder leveraging AI to build faster. The efficiency is there, but I've noticed a paradox: while AI makes us independent, it also creates isolated silos.

Currently, the support structures for founders are mostly vertical:

Accelerators (Mentor -> Mentee)

VC funding (Investor -> Startup)

I feel we lack horizontal collaboration—a structured way for solo founders to act like a team without merging companies. Think of it like a "Guild" where we could:

Swap automated workflows and internal tools

Cross-promote products to overlapping audiences

Share collective infrastructure

Ask HN: Do you have a structured "peer group" or collective you actively build with? Or is everyone mostly building in isolation right now? I'm curious if new organizational models are emerging that I'm missing.
