In 2026, power grid data quality is still a global blind spot. And while OpenStreetMap (OSM) is today the only global, free, and open database describing power grid infrastructure, one question keeps coming back : Can OSM power grid data be used with confidence, and under which conditions? GridInspector aims to answer this question at a scale.

Given that I only see circuit length data for high voltages and above, I assume this tool only considers power=line and not power=minor_line? I couldn't find confirmation of this in the documentation.

Does this project identify the specific locations with data quality issues? For someone who is interested in contributing by improving the data, a convenient list of nodes/ways that need work would help.
