Show HN: Doom Playable in a GitHub Readme

https://kuber.studio/blog/Projects/How-I-Made-DOOM-Run-Inside-a-GitHub-Readme
2•kuberwastaken•1d ago
GitHub READMEs don’t support JavaScript, iframes, or WebAssembly, so how does someone run DOOM on it at all?

I built DoomMe (great name, I know) with a stateless graph of 8000+ Markdown files and WebP images of every possible position you can be or face towards on the E1M1 map to make it one very big "choose your own adventure" book on GitHub.

PS: Because of it being stateless, I also had to manually edit a new WAD file to "open" the gates of E1M1 to use omgifol later to capture all valid positions inside the map!

I realized WAYY later that I put down the link as the repo and not the blog and then that it was too late to edit it later

I'd be happy to take this down if necessary, I'd understand
