I am not anti-Rust. I understand its value and why there are devs who prize it. I dislike using it personally, though, simply because I find it unpleasant. Fortunately, I don't have to. There's plenty of work using other languages.

I don't object to others using it, and things like it being allowed in the Linux kernel, or utilities being rewritten in it, don't upset me at all. Horses for courses.
