Given the power draw of data centers it was only a matter of time before just cutting to the chase and co-locating data centers with one of the most consistent, high-output base load generation technologies. I do hope that the data center builders help to accelerate the adoption and rollout of small modular reactors (SMRs) as those will be needed for supplying the grid in general in the coming years and everyone will benefit from economies of scale.
