I am starting to hold strongly to the "every accusation is a confession" theory.

These people strongly believed that the federal government was being used to carry out targeted partisan attacks. When they come into power... they use the federal government to carry out targeted partisan attacks.

When you bring it up, people will say "it's no different than when X did it Y number of years ago". Even though it is usually very different.

Sometimes it's hard to convince people that Occam's razor is usually correct. No party is without its faults or biases - and maybe call me naive - but it could simply be that the party that ran on having a professional and impartial DOJ probably prioritized a professional and impartial DOJ, and the party that ran on having a partisan DOJ is running a partisan DOJ.
