went through a divorce and was overwhelmed by how unstructured and confusing the process was — emotionally and practically. I didn’t know what documents I needed, what decisions mattered first, or how to prepare before spending thousands on lawyers. Everything felt reactive.

So I built ReplantLife — a calm, private way to prepare for divorce before you file or speak to an attorney. It helps people organize documents, think through decisions, and approach the process grounded instead of panicked.

I originally built this for myself. As I used it, I realized others might need the same clarity and structure — especially people who want to move forward thoughtfully and protect themselves.

This doesn’t replace legal counsel. It helps people show up prepared.

I’d love feedback from anyone who’s been through divorce, supports people through it, or thinks this kind of preparation tool could help.

Lawyer here. I just did a couple dry runs. That the stupidest petition I’ve ever seen. Worse than most pro se people who just write in the blanks using state provided templates.

Family law is one of the most contested, and high stakes areas of law to work in. People take things like, oh, losing custody of their children as seriously as a heart attack.

Sooner or later one of the people who use your product are going to fuck up and blame you. I really hope you have good lawyers, because they’re gonna come after you next and your little disclaimer at the bottom isn’t going to protect you for squat.

You should probably take it down now before you get yourself in waaay over your head in a lawsuit. And let me tell you, be a smart guy and step on lawyers profession, they will come after you with a vengeance if someone hires them to do so.

Shut it down and run away man.

Not to mention the fact that you “didn’t know what documents [you] needed, what decisions mattered first, or how to prepare before spending thousands on lawyers. Everything felt reactive” isn’t exactly a ringing endorsement that you know bubkus about what you doing.

So being a moron you “built ReplantLife.”

Also, why did you spend thousands on lawyer(s)(plural)? Typically, in my experience, people who go through multiple lawyers in a divorce are the ones who think they’re smarter than their lawyer and their lawyer fires them for not cooperating with their case.

But, you probably diagnose yourself and prescribe your own medicine too, right?

Three words mack: Dunning/Kruger syndrome.
