I don’t know what trick you have in mind, but if you made a submission, don’t just comment right away as the first commenter. If you have to say something that is not covered in the title, use the “text” section to say more.

Personally, if you are the submitter and the first commenter, I feel that you are up to something. This is more pronounced when the link or “Show HN” is your own.
