Good strategy. Don't blame the king, blame his counselors. It's always the sensible thing to do in an absolute monarchy.

I notice folks wasting so much time blaming him when clearly everything is being managed behind the scenes by them

Trump, for all his supposed villany is not a complicated person. He's motivated deeply by greed and little else. That's not very unique really. The authoritarianism is a sideline. Fascism doesnt seem to be that important to him, that seems to originate with Stephen Miller, and is consistent with his resume and the hires from the Heritage Foundation.

> He's motivated deeply by greed and little else.

Strange takeaway considering he's the only politician in my lifetime that hasn't been obviously bought and paid for. Greedy people are in it for themselves, where he clearly puts the interests of the country ahead of his own.

This is a delusional take of the highest order.

Yes he's risking WWIII out of the goodness of his heart for America /s

I think it couldn't be more obvious that he's greedy, corrupt, profiting from the presidency, and the best interest of the nation always takes the back seat to his personal gain. He's the most blatantly corrupt president in my lifetime.

He's in it for himself. He cares about nothing else.
