My review of the Nüborn Baby at 3 months

I've read some reviews that ordering a 2nd Nüborn can have some benefits.
em-bee•2w ago
yeah, the reviewer completely missed telling us about the first one and what effect the second one had on it. i'd also like to see a few repeated reviews because the utility of a baby changes drastically once they can walk and speak and express a will of their own. i found it very difficult to engage with my own until they reached that stage. the smiles that the reviewer seems so excited about did nothing for me.
karhuton•1w ago
Did it and can’t say yet I’d be very happy with the decision.

The first new feature we got on BOTH models was synced alarms! Why? It was already most hated feature on a stand-alone setup.

Also, their communication system between the models is a VERY noisy ad hoc wiresless audio mesh network.

(I have to admit it works better than our Wifi across the apartment – but I guess it’s because there’s no legal TX Watt limits!)

I'll admit it took me far too long to realize this wasn't some review of a Reborn doll

Convergent joke ideas, in my opinion.
_Yguy_•2w ago
This is well-written. I was smiling the whole time.
beAbU•2w ago
I just passed week 5 of first time ownership. The review is spot on. The product is mostly a buggy, stinky, noisy mess while we wait for the OTA updates to finish.
port11•1w ago
Wait until you find out about the new features that just make life more difficult… the product management of this stuff is appalling.
tibbydudeza•1w ago
No return policy until the decide to leave on their own accord.

No user documentation was provided except for incorrect sharing of information from family.

Mine was frustrating at times but looking back it was well worth the price paid

I've noticed that there's significant battery drain in sleep mode, but no way to set up hibernation :(
