I like lua - I've used it in a number of projects over the years. I have been looking at it for web projects. Openresty, LuaJit, APISIX - are sort of active but non. Wasmoon - mostly a throw away project.

Do people use Lua? Do the mostly stick to non-web projects?

It seems like a good cross project scripting language that isn't heavy weight.
