If there is a longer term technology benefit to Intel in this process, the geopolitical interest will be on where the production facilities wind up which make these chips in bulk.
TSMC and other fab lines will ultimately be in the same space. Meantime, RAM and flash memory remains insanely expensive for ordinary use because of AI. Opportunistic production cycles and frankly cartel like behaviours are inevitably going to exist, and so parasitical entities like the Motley Fool move in, like sea lice on a whale.
