> I just spent a week living in an Airbnb with four other people.

I can see how it may be really cool, but I can also see how some people may hate that. Colleagues are not (always) friends, a week is a long time, and living together (i.e. sharing an appartment) is not always easy.

But I do agree that meeting in person once in a while is important. Maybe it doesn't have to be a full week, and maybe it doesn't have to be a shared appartment (hotel rooms keep some distance), though.

> But it’s hard to build a culture when your employees never see each other and never get the chance to talk without an agenda.

It's also possible to have "remote coffees", and just chat with colleagues remotely.
