The other day I allegedly took it a step further by setting a cronjob to run a `say hello friend` command every ~28 minutes. This got me thinking that I should probably stop before I get fired... but also if there's an easier way to do this where I don't have to remember the cron syntax, but also give them an easy way to remove it.
So I made Stay Safe – a fun script that's quick to install, quick to remove, and reminds colleagues of the importance of not letting someone else have unfettered access to their unattended machine.
