Why is there no mention on Hacker News that the US government killed two citizens in Minnesota? Is this HN policy? Or does not one who reads HN care?

There's a lot of coverage, but:

(1) everything, including tech, disappears fast;

(2) there's a big world out there, people like me in Europe are slighly more worried about how boldly the same US citizens (yes, even on HN) who are fine with ICE killing those US citizens, are also explicitly supportive of Trump using military muscle to conquor allied territory;

(3) yes, there is a "please focus on tech, not politics unless those politics are relevant to the tech" policy, it's here: https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html
