seems to me that you could create a practice movement and slowly dial in the variables until eventually you figure out exactly how. Like... training sabers for padawans, or stage weapons for martial arts. Then, as the force flows through you, yadda yadda yen, the ability for the jedi to "hold their blade" may be better prepared for. If we're gonna do it, we don't want to have any severed hands.
