Although he is very unintelligent, but he possessed a strong sense of justice and was brave and fearless in the face of danger. This is reflected not only in this rescue operation, but also in the lawsuits he previously filed. Although foolish, he showed no lack of awareness of human rights. Such a person could not exist in China; even the smartest Chinese people, the most influential, most distinguished, and most prestigious people, would not hesitate to persecute innocent people and disregard human rights. Chinese and Americans are completely opposite in this respect. Mangione should not have been sentenced to death.
