I'm a conservative Christian, but I think the more gracious thing to do -- not that the Trump Administration embraces subtlety or graciousness -- would be to let him off with a stern warning, and with the clear notice that if anyone else does this they WILL be arrested.
popalchemist•1h ago
You're out of your mind. Reporting on protesting is not illegal, whereas THIS is absolutely illegal. It is a violation of his constitutional rights.

Only fascists arrest journalists and priests.

linksnapzz•31m ago
He had no constitutional right to disrupt a religious service.

Though I agree-it's a waste of time and money to prosecute him-he and his co-conspirators ought to have been beaten up and ejected from the church once it was apparent what they were up to, and everyone would've learned a valuable lesson.

>He had no constitutional right to disrupt a religious service.

Lemon was arrested because he's a famous dissident, not because he disrupted a church service.

Trump made churches fair game when he rescinded previous Immigration and Customs Enforcement policy that prohibited enforcement actions in sensitive locations such as places of worship, as well as schools and hospitals. [0]

There is no rule of law in the US any longer. Like China, the US has rule by law.
