I find the usage and reliance of the left on centralized surveillance big tech terribly frustrating. The people shouting the loudest how bad capitalism is are just as addicted to the mind numbing spoon feeding machines of big tech and live just as much inside of worlds completely surveilled and controlled by the big corporations they supposedly oppose so much.

It has been clear since much more than a decade that big tech is the modern population control mechanism, yet no one from any major political movement really cares. It's more important for people to show all their friends how much they are against capitalism and the state and what not by telling everyone on Instagram and writing it into their Discord bio than to actually not be a willing part of that very system.
