Show HN: Metricsense – Turn unstructured user feedback into engineering specs

https://www.metricsense.ai/
1•avestalabs•1h ago
Hi HN,

We built Metricsense to solve a problem I was facing daily: reading through thousands of chat logs and support tickets to decide what to build next, then manually writing specs for engineers.

What it does: Metricsense acts as an intelligence layer. It connects to your feedback channels (chat logs, linear, etc.), uses LLMs to identify recurring patterns/pain points, and automatically generates detailed, engineering-ready specifications for your team.

How it works: Instead of generic summaries, we focus on extracting "implementation details." It spots that 40 users complained about "pricing visibility" and drafts a spec including the context, the user quotes, and the suggested technical change.

The goal is to close the loop between "User said X" and "Engineer builds Y" without the manual translation layer in between.

I’d love to hear your feedback on the generated specs or how you currently handle this workflow.

Thanks!
