what an odd article. I had to do a sanity check and make sure that the ARC line wasn't a fever dream I had. They released their first GPU in 2022 and have been updating it yearly since then. I guess this is just an announcement that they're manufacturing them now to compete in the AI space

i740 from 1998 says hi.

Depending on the exact definition of "GPU", Intel never stopped doing GPUs since then. The vast majority have been integrated, but they were units that processed graphics.
