I originally built this site as a content aggregator that would pull in blogs and podcasts and YouTube videos that I was interested in. I found I wasn't really reading very many of them, and I tried generating summaries for each item, but also found that I wasn't reading the summaries very often. And so taking inspiration from Twitter, I decided to try and convert the text/audio/video into a Twitter style thread, which I tend to read. I find I read most threads now and have a higher rate of clicking through to actually read articles, etc.
