I built a directory for AI roleplay characters: https://www.characteraibots.com

The problem: Character.AI and similar platforms have thousands of characters, but discovery is poor. Users spend hours browsing to find quality characters.

My solution: A curated directory with ratings, search, and filtering across multiple platforms (Character.AI, JanitorAI, SpicyChat).

Tech stack: - Next.js 14 with SSR - Dynamic sitemap generation - SEO optimized (canonical URLs, OG images) - Mobile responsive

Features: - 50+ curated characters - Search by name, type, tags - Category browsing (Yandere, Tsundere, Vampire, etc.) - Ratings and popularity rankings - Multi-platform support

The site is completely free. I'm considering monetization through featured listings or API access.
