Nudge lets you define prompts via a TypeScript builder API, then uses a CLI tool to generate the final system prompts. You describe intent structurally, not by tweaking wording, caps, or repetition. Instructions can be “nudged” with a numeric strength instead.
Prompts support:
- type-safe variables
- optional blocks toggled at runtime
- multiple variants for A/B testing
Because prompts are structured, parts are easy to reuse across agents. Prompts can also be tested and iteratively improved using an LLM based on failing test cases.
This is a project Joshua Knauber and I have been working on - would love feedback.

A nod's as good as a wink to a blind bat, eh?
Know what I mean, know what I mean. Say no more.
