I think this is sage advice. The future is becoming increasingly unpredictable as change and progress accelerate.

Diversifying income streams to prepare for that unknown (the future where coding complex software projects is as easy as using AI to write essays is today), is hard to disagree with.

My only concern: what would happen to the real estate market if every software engineer tried to put this advice into practice at the same time?
