At the moment the site covers population, fertility, mortality, migration, GDP, education,and 100+ other metrics. Each country has interactive charts, rankings, and comparisons with neighbors and similar countries. There is also a map and card view. I plan to go more granular in the future, focus on counties or individual states.
Built with Next.js, SQLite, and D3. All pages are statically generated. Sources I used: UN World Population Prospects, IMF World Economic Outlook, and UNESCO Institute for Statistics.
