Note that the same question can be asked of the so-called "high agency" billionaires such as Musk and Bezos, as they suck up to a New York real-estate hustler who bankrupted four casinos among dozens of other failed ventures. The obvious, most logical explanation, apart from tariff exemptions, merger approvals, and quashed investigations, is that they want to be eaten first.
