#AgenticAI is one of the most exciting shifts in software we’ve seen in a long time.

But its real power isn’t “autonomy everywhere”. It’s knowing where to apply it.

I wrote a short piece on how I think about , framing it as a spectrum: from flexible interfaces, to adaptive orchestration, to open-ended reasoning.

Used intentionally, agents unlock things that were previously impractical or even impossible to build. Used indiscriminately, they can add complexity where simplicity would win.
