VCs love publishing dense "Market Map" JPEGs, but they are essentially dead data. If you see a logo you like, you have to manually Google it to figure out what they do.
I built a tool called Scaapr that takes these images and reverse-engineers them into structured data.
How it works:
Upload a market map image.
AI extracts the hierarchy (Category -> Subcategory -> Company).
We run a "disambiguation" step to match logos to real Crunchbase entities.
The result is a fully searchable, interactive board.
