I built Sigilla because bookmarking articles felt like throwing them into a black hole. I wanted a way to actually use what I read, not just hoard links.
Sigilla is a "reading companion" that lets you save articles, highlight key insights, and then use AI search to find them later based on meaning, not just keywords.
The Stack:
Frontend: Vite (Vanilla JS/React?) + Tailwind
Backend: Supabase (PostgreSQL in EU)
Search: AI/Vector embeddings for context-aware search.
Privacy: No tracking pixels. Full export to Markdown/JSON (obsidian-friendly).
It's currently in beta and free. I built it to scratch my own itch for a privacy-first research tool.
