I made a remix of a Maggie Rogers track for a friend who's obsessed with the Maggie Roger's song "Alaska". Wanted a way to share it that was more fun than just sending a SoundCloud link, so I built a little site where you mix the song yourself.

It walks you through 7 audio stems one at a time. You drag faders to mix each one in, and the next layer unlocks when you bring the last one up. I also placed a beat pad at the end with vocal chops you can play to make your own remix.

Built using React + Tone.js. One of the first projects I made awhile back where I mostly vibe coded (Sonnet 3.5 I think). Felt good to build something for fun without overthinking the architecture. Curious what people think about the website and the music!

I made it to be mobile friendly, but you might have to flip your ringer on for the web audio to work.
