I have been sidelined to projects that are irrelevant and have lost all the autonomy to work on features. Best I can do is work on features others built and try to improve it. Problem is I can't improve it at all. I have my taste, I can't express it without breaking build from others.

This has put my skills to real test where I am not able to do anything at at all. I tried applying different places and when I did, I felt my skill rotting away from me.

This is really unsettling given how AI is progressing.

How to cope?
