I built an app that makes you exercise to unlock social media

I built Scrolletics because I couldn’t control my scrolling. I was averaging almost 4 hours a day. I’d open Instagram for a minute and somehow it turned into 40. Same with TikTok. I tried the native iOS screen limits. I’d just hit ignore every time. So I thought, what if I didn’t block it. What if I had to earn it? At least then I wouldn’t feel guilty about it. Now before I open social media, I have to do something physical. Push ups, squats, jumping jacks, or a quick plank. It sounds small, but it changes the moment. I don’t reach for my phone the same way when I know I have to move first. My screen time is under 2 hours now after a few weeks. And I can probably lower it more. No account. No tracking. Nothing leaves your phone. I built it for myself. If you’re stuck in the scroll loop too, maybe it helps.
