I'm the founder of BotBot. We just open-sourced BotBrain, a project we've been working on to make it easier to get complex legged robots up and running.
We found ourselves spending a lot of time on the foundational plumbing, getting ROS2, navigation, and hardware to play nice, instead of on higher-level behaviors.
BotBrain is our attempt to solve that. It's a modular platform built on ROS2 that integrates a autonomous navigation stack, a web-based UI for control. It's designed to run on a Jetson with a couple of RealSense cameras, and we've also open-sourced the 3D-printable hardware to tie it all together.
It's not perfect, but it's a solid starting point for anyone building on platforms like the Unitree Go2 or G1, and it's architected to be extended to other robots. The whole thing is MIT licensed.

We are also working on a Pro version for professional/enterprise use and will feature the AGX orin or Thor depending on use cases thats coming out in June.
