I built this app because the native Boox note app records a massive amount of redundant pen data, which eventually causes severe lag on complex drawings.

This is a privacy-focused web app (Rust + WASM) that runs entirely locally. It parses the .note file, strips out overlapping points that don't affect visual fidelity, and exports a lighter file. This drastically reduces file size and restores the ability to sketch without the device choking.

It also includes a web-based renderer/debugger if anyone is interested in tinkering with the Boox file format.
