I liked a lot of what I read here, and it looks to address many issues I have with RSS readers, though I worry it may bring some new ones. I plan to try it out later today.

I did have a question about this line:

The article talks repeatedly about how there is no unread count, articles fade away or can be released... what does "mark read" do? What does it mean to mark read vs release? I thought release was effectively a metaphor for marking something as read. This line struck me as odd and felt out of place in on otherwise pretty consistent vision.
