I’ve finally picked up enough technical skills (and with some coding help from AI) and data/business understanding to bring out Preact Health. Would love some feedback - I know there’s bugs and glitches: it’s a Shiny front end with a Python API and Postgres database. I’n confident with the data and the math - the technical side of software development is the weakness but I think it’s in a workable enough fashion to release.
Feel free to use without creating an account to see what it’s like and if you feel the desire to save it off and return later (future updates will include single question updates to get an updated score based off changes in your health/lifestyle) to see your score.
There is a path to sustainability where the road map currently includes incentivizing people to provide data and be paid for it, to help build risk models for insurance based off actual user data to get past biased population models which overrun insurance at the moment.
Thanks for your attention and if you’d like to give feedback, comment or you can email me at erik@preacthealth.com. Best of luck to all the other founders out there!
Oh and if you’d like to play with the actual algorithm, the Python is open source for collaboration and development: https://github.com/preacterik/preact-health-scoring
