All the stupid human emotional and legal and political drama doesn't count for sh*t when the notional water that they are fighting tooth and nail over is physically non-existent.

IIR, it was known in the 1980's that the American southwest could go through centuries-long phases of extreme drought - which resulted in the great majority of the local Native American populations either migrating out of the area, or dying off.

Yep, can confirm. Mountains in every state look bare compared to a typical year. Go look at ski slopes in California or Utah or Washington or wherever, and you’ll see lots of patchy terrain and generally terrible conditions even with artificial snow.

But that did not stop Marco Rubio from literally using the phrase “climate cult” to describe those who believe in the obvious evidence of global warming:

As everybody writes, Mother Nature doesn’t give a sh*t about what people think or say or believe. They can deny that mankind influences the results, but they bloody well better accept that things change and not always to the better and plan for it.
