Context: Apple had a media frontend called Front Row that was removed from Mac OS X in 10.7 Lion. It worked well with an Apple Remote. A slightly modified version of this frontend was also used for the 1st generation Apple TV in 2007.

Developed this mostly as a toy media frontend for myself originally.
