no links to the claimed "science-backed" papers or research;

I worked in substance misuse as a methadone dispender, care coordinator, NHS detox units and rehabs across the UK for over 15 years.

Strike alcohol off that list, there is no way in a million years that any app will assist or help anyone addicted to alcohol to detox and cut down on their drinking.
