Whenever I find myself on Twitter there’s always a handful of new people hitting insane MRR figures in their first month of launching an app.
A short confident line like “BRB Printing Money” or “Just hit 300K MRR les’go! ” backed up by a convincing chart. Either a screenshot or short recording.
I want it to to be true when I see these. I love people winning. Especially youngsters like the App Mafia gang who you can quite easily tell work HARD and have their heads firmly screwed on.
But there’s a wave that’s passed and there’s only so many habit trackers that can be making these figures now?
The main point of this is to raise awareness towards how easy it is to make something convincing in the age of AI. We all know not to believe anything we see online. Add charts to the list!
All we can do is keep it real, get outside and AB test our ways to victory and not overnight success. Have a crack a going viral though for sure.
