Puffy is a very clever design but never underestimate a cat. Cat will learn. Cat will knock Puffy off counter. Cat will get RasPi wet. Cat wins. With time they always win, they are obstinate.
Puffy will need to be anchored to the counter or wall if one wants to free up space and get Puffy out of cat's reach and there will need to be two of them to defend one another. As a selling bonus have Puffy identify intruders and send video to phone. (actual intruders or even kids sneaking snacks). Puffy could benefit from a battery backup for this extra use case.
- Can Puffy identify smoke?
- Does Puffy recognize electrical outlets and know to avoid squirting water into them should a cat be in front of one and miss? i.e. tricked by cat into starting house fire.
