Is this just an ad for Delta? I couldn't find the answer to "Why Delta Air Lines Doesn't Want Blended Winglets on Most Aircraft Anymore" (just that they seem to have switched to the split-scimitar, not why) but I could find out a tonne of details about their "new first class seats, which debuted in 2022..."

It's a really terrible article, at least for the title. The answer is that split scimitar is apparently a bit more efficient. Sufficiently more efficient to be worth the change.
