LLMs are limited by their interface which is usually chat/api. Once a web layer is placed in front of it LLM's can replace software entirely.

The question isn't when will software developers be replaced, but when will software be replaced? 18 months ago the models were dismissed as not good enough for complex development, today they are competently producing code.

If OpenAI/Anthropic integrate web end points into the LLM, introduce optimised models, internal data storage and pipelines, anyone could point their domain to an endpoint and serve up apps.
