Most flat-pack wardrobes use 15mm or 18mm panel board for the carcase, which provides adequate strength when new but can flex, bow, or allow the frame to rack out of square over years of use — particularly if the unit is loaded heavily or moved. A 25mm carcase panel is significantly stiffer, keeping the frame square and the doors aligned for longer under the same loading conditions. The DHS Skova double wardrobe with drawers is built from 25mm particle board throughout its 80×53×177.5cm frame, with a hanging rail and two soft-close base drawers. The 15mm front panels carry the metallic handles and are available in white, grey, and wood-grey finishes.
