Trump says US will have a role in choosing Iran's next leader

> "We want to be involved in the process of choosing the person who is going to lead Iran into the future," Trump said.

> "We don't have to go back every five years and do this again and again ... Somebody that's going to be great for the people, great for the country

The US should be pushing for democratic elections. We don't like foreign non-interference in our own elections.

Foreign interference in US elections for Trump from the likes of Internet Research Agency (Putin, Prigozhin) and SCL Group / Cambridge Analytica (Bannon, Mercer, Nix, Oakes) is offensive.

Hypocrisy is a core element of their game and it baffles me that so many go along, even promote it. How do we address this?

Why would a country next have a 1% renewable energy mix?

Trump could apply for Iranian citizenship then vote in the elections.

Or bomb any elected leader he dislikes.

I wonder which he'll pick.
