It shows a live timer and the exact duration since the shutdown started. The idea was just to make something simple people could check or embed instead of looking up articles to figure out how long it has been going.
Curious if anyone has ideas for additional data that could be useful to include (historical shutdown comparisons, cost estimates, etc).
