I built Asterode to make AI more productive on the go. It focuses on continuity: switching models mid conversation, branching chats, a global memory layer, and keeping useful context without constantly starting over. IT's available on Android and iOS. I’d really appreciate thoughtful feedback.

Hey!
I’m Stef, and I built Asterode.
In 2025 I got pulled into development through “vibe coding.” I don’t come from a technical background, but I wanted to build things. I started with small, fun experiments, then decided to go the learn-by-doing route and build something serious.
I picked one of the most practical ideas on my list: a single app that solves a daily pain point and would make my future building faster.
I brainstorm a lot with AI, and I found I get the best results when I combine perspectives from different AI models. But switching providers to do that was a mess. Constantly moving context and replies back and forth was counter-productive. Doing it on mobile was even worse.
So I built Asterode: one app, every model, context across everything, in my pocket.
Compare perspectives (switch mid-conversation, re-generated with different models), branch explorations, capture key insights, build on memory or on custom
At some point I thought: why not polish it and ship it? The scope jumped fast (server-side, subscriptions, usage limits, billing, privacy/data controls…), but shipping it made me even more technical.
This is my first app and it was completely vibe coded.
Happy to answer questions and would genuinely love honest feedback.
