The core idea is an AI co-producer that doesn’t just chat, but can take action and actually help across different stages of making a track. Instead of generating music like Suno AI, it assists producers in overcoming obstacles and learning as they go.
A lot of producers get stuck at different points in the workflow:
- sound design (“I hear it in my head but can’t make it”) - arrangement (getting out of loop hell and turning an idea into a real song) - mixing / mastering ("does it sound good - radio-ready") - and simply knowing how to do something in a DAW or which technique to use
The product idea is a music production intelligence layer that can both guide and act.
For example, it could:
- listen to the current project - understand key / harmony / sonic space - suggest or create a melody that fits - help improve arrangement based on references - guide or assist with mixing and mastering - teach the producer how and why something works inside the DAW
The goal is not to generate finished songs like Suno.
The goal is to help music producers go from idea → finished track, while still learning, keeping creative control, and developing a sound that fits their artistic vision.
A few questions:
1. Which stage of production do you get stuck on most often? 2. Would you want an assistant who only gives guidance, or one who can also take actions inside the project? 3. What would make this genuinely useful rather than gimmicky? 4. What tools or workflows are you using today to solve these problems?
If this resonates, I’d be happy to share a prototype once we have one.
