Show HN: Sinkhole – 30 free browser-based tools, no signup, MIT licensed

https://www.sinkhole.app
2•boringeurodev•2h ago
I built this because I kept paying monthly fees for tools I use maybe twice a month — TinyPNG, SmallPDF, iLovePDF, Convertio etc.

Sinkhole replaces all of them: - Image tools: compress, convert, resize, crop, rotate, blur, HEIC→JPG, remove background - PDF tools: merge, split, compress, unlock, PDF→images - Text tools: word counter, JSON formatter, Base64, URL encoder, Markdown preview - Video tools: compress, video→GIF, thumbnail extractor - Dev tools: webhook tester, website screenshot

Everything runs in the browser or via a lightweight API. No accounts, no watermarks, no file retention, MIT licensed.

GitHub: https://github.com/BoringEuropeanDev/sinkhole

Feedback welcome — especially on tools people wish existed.
